CNC machine tools - gantry machining centres have the following structural characteristics

1 Gantry Machining Center has the following structural features:fixed beam type (beam fixed, table moving),moving beam type (beam up and down movement, the table movement before and after ),moving column type (table fixed, gantry movement),bridge type (table fixed, beam movement) etc.

2 Beam

The gantry machining center consists of a beam and two columns, which can be divided into three type: beam is fixed, beam is lifted Sectionally by positioning block and beam is lifting arbitrarily.

3 Rams

Ram can be divided in to open,closed two types.

The open structure of the ram is clamped on the spindle box according to the pressure plate.

The cross section of the ram is large. The closed structure of the ram is clamped in the main shaft box, while the cross section of the ram is relatively small.

4 Tool magazine

Tool magazine has three types:Turret,drum type and chain length.

5 Accessory

Large complex gantry processing center has many accessories,such as right-angle head,special angle head, universal milling head etc.

6 CNC system

CNC system usually adopt Japan FANUC, CNC axis is fully closed loop control.

7 Accuracy

The accuracy of the gantry machining center is the original accuracy in the absence of external load conditions. Accuracy is generally expressed by the deviation between its negative and ideal states.And the smaller the error is, the higher the accuracy is.
